If you’re into good-looking groups of men singing and dancing, get ready to fall in love with the all-American K-pop group. EXP EDITION dropped the “Stress” music video on YouTube on Jan. 10, 2018. The title track “Stress” is part of the boys’ first mini-album “First Edition.”
The four EXP members–Hunter, Koki, Frankie and Sime–are sexier and fiercer than ever in the ‘Stress’ music video.
Frankie, Hunter, Koki and IMMABB Entertainment’s Bora Kim wrote “Stress.” On Jan. 23, the four boys will perform at MTV Korea’s “The Show.”
Born in New York City, made in Seoul
When Bora Kim was a Ph.D candidate at Columbia University, she wrote a thesis about making a boy band. After a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2015, she was able to turn EXP EDITION from an experiment as its name stands to a real, authentic boy band. Kim and Karin Kuroda named the project IMMABB, short for “I’m making a boy band.”
So far, EXP EDITION is the world’s first non-Korean K-pop group.
‘Feel Like This’
In April 2017, EXP EDITION dropped their first single “Feel Like This.” It’s a vibrant song with catchy rhythms. The Solju remix version of this single is available in their new mini-album.
In August 2017, EXP EDITION left New York to pursue opportunities in Seoul. They have starred in reality show “My Neighbor, Charles,” and performed in Seoul Arts Center and MTV Korea‘s “M Countdown.” What’s more? They even got on stage at Roskilde, the largest Northern European Music Festival in Denmark.
