
For couples looking for unique experiences, here’s what’s happening in Seoul just in time for the Valentine’s Day weekend.
1. Blend a custom perfume
Who doesn’t love a personalized gift? Book a custom perfume workshop for two. GN Perfume Studio presents a museum-worthy collection of scents, and they give you enough time to play with it. If you’re not a perfume person, opt to make home fragrances like diffusers and candles.

2. Brew a love potion
This exhibit ponders the centuries-old question of how love develops over time. Explore one couple’s relationship as you walk through the ten rooms in this interactive installation in the historic Buam district of Seoul. Participating artists are Kim Hyun Soo, Shinliart, Ahn Min Jung, eAeon + Hong Eun Hee, Jung Bo Young, Hong Ji Joon, Bob Carey, Hsin Wang, Irma Gruenholz and Taku Bannai. Love Potion is on display until March 4.

3. See M/M Paris’s Love/Love exhibit
For all art-loving couples, Love/Love exhibit is another great option closer to metro Seoul area. Artistic agency M/M is best known for their creative direction and collaborations, most recently with J.W. Anderson and Louis Vuitton. Love/Love installation ends on March 18.

4. Splurge on a gourmet wine dinner
A three course dinner with wine pairing is the classic Valentine’s Day option. Enjoy yours with a gorgeous view of Seoul. Dinner starts from $110 for one from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and $145 from 8 to 10 p.m. Enjoy unlimited wine for $55 from 10:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.

5. Relax with a couple’s spa
