Heart Signal 2” is the trendiest show in Korea at the moment. It’s been consistently ranked as one of the top Korean reality shows for months, according to the Korean Business Research Institute. The fans in the know love the cast so much that their Instagram accounts blew up. Here are the reasons why you should get on board if you haven’t already.

1. It’s relatable

No reality shows are more real, and no K-dramas are more dramatic than ‘Heart Signal 2.’ The non-celebrity cast members meet for the first time on day one and get to know one another throughout the 13 episodes. There are no K-drama cliches (tk) and, in that sense, it’s better than K-drama romance. It’s the closest we can get to the raw, mysterious thing called love.

2. Forget the love triangle

We’ve seen a love triangle over and over in “Evergreen (That Man, Oh Soo),” “Cheese in the Trap,” “Heirs,” and more. In “Heart Signal 2,” the flatmates forge and break close bonds in quest of finding their true love by the end of the show. These fiercely competitive contestants form love triangles and even rectangles as they send “heart signals” to one another.

3. It keeps everyone guessing

In “Heart Signal 2,” the cast members couple up to go on a quest or a special date. Naturally, the “who’s into who” diagram that gets drawn at the end of the episodes change every week. The show will leave you and the hosts guessing who will end up with whom until the very end.
